This post embodies my entire viewpoint of Feminism, that viewpoint being disdain. Because according to the views of so many of these “Quasi-Feminists”,

Hip-Hop music videos are horrible and objectifying women! But the song and video for Raining Men, well that’s just funny! A woman can check me out, but as soon as I look back, I’m a disgusting pig. If my girlfriend pays for our dinner, I’m either a penniless bum or I’m a dick. Rapists who are women don’t exist.

If I were to ever slap my girlfriend across the face, she should call the police, end the relationship, and press charges. Rightfully so. But If she were to do the same thing to me, I probably just said something that offended her, so it’s really my fault and I should stop being such a little wuss about it.

You can’t accept the social injustices that benefit you, and at the same time, fight the social injustices that don’t. You either have to fight them all, or accept them all. This shit isn’t unique to feminism, I could say the same exact thing to any other kind of rights activist.

This is the kind of shit that quasi-Feminists don’t want to talk about, because it doesn’t promote their pseudo gender equality dogmas. Show this list to a militant feminist, and they will try to justify every point made. Feminists claim to fight for equality among genders, but the majority of this loosely organized group is only fighting for the rights of one gender.
